How to get to the Canton Fair from Hong Kong
- By air: The flight from Hong Kong International Airport to Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport takes approximately 40 minutes and costs around HKD 1000.
- By bus: Buses from the Hong Kong airport depart approximately every 20 minutes from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. The trip to Guangzhou takes about 4 hours; the fare is HKD 110.
- By ferry: For HKD 200, you can also get to Guangzhou by ferry in two and a half hours.
- By MTR: The High-Speed Rail from Kowloon to Guangzhou takes an hour; the ticket price is HKD 250.
How to get to the Canton Fair from Beijing
- By air: There are many flights available; the average journey takes over 3 hours.
- By train: A high-speed train travels from Beijing to Guangzhou in 8 to 11 hours. Prices start from around RMB 700. At times, a train is more convenient than an airplane because flights are more likely to be delayed.
How to get to the Canton Fair from Shanghai
- By air: A flight from Shanghai to Guangzhou takes about two and a half hours.
- By train: The journey takes between 7 and 8 and a half hours by high-speed train; the fee for a seat in a second-class compartment is less than RMB 800.

How to get to the Canton Fair – getting around the city
It is relatively easy to get to the venue as it is conveniently located. There are many options for getting to the Canton Trade Fair. The choice of means of communication depends on your preferences and circumstances.
However, when choosing a taxi, you should bear in mind that you could be held up by a traffic jam.

How to get to the Canton Fair Complex from Guangzhou Baiyun Airport
The distance between Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport and the trade fair venue is 44 km. On the days that the trade show takes place, the airport provides shuttle buses that go directly to the complex. The buses leave approximately every half hour. The journey takes 60 minutes, and the fare is RMB 25.
You can take a taxi from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport to the Canton Fair Complex. The ride takes about an hour, and the fare is RMB 150-200.
To get to the venue from the airport by subway, at terminal No. 2:
- Take Metro Line 3 (North Extension)
- At the Tiyu Xilu Station, change to another Line 3 towards Panyu Square
- At the Kecun Station, transfer to Line 8 towards Wanshengwei
- Get off at Xingangdong (exit A) or Pazhou Station (exit C).
The journey by subway takes over an hour; the fare is RMB 8.
How to get to the Canton Fai Complex by metro
From Guangzhou Railway Station:
- take Metro Line 2 (towards Guangzhou South Station)
- at Changgang Station, change to Line 8 (towards Wanshengwei Station)
- get off at Xingangdong Station (for Area A) or Pazhou Station (for Area C).
The fare is RMB 7 (40 minutes).
From Guangzhou East Railway Station:
- take Metro Line 3 (towards Panyu Square Station)
- at Kecun Station, change to Line 8 (towards Wanshengwei Station)
- get off at Xingangdong Station (for Area A) or Pazhou Station (for Area C).
The fare is RMB 4 (30-35 minutes).
From Guangzhou South Railway Station:
- take Metro Line 2 (towards Jiahe Wanggang Station)
- at Changgang Station, change to Line 8 (towards Wanshengwei Station)
- get off at Xingangdong Station (for Area A) or Pazhou Station (for Area C).
The fare is RMB 9 (40-45 minutes).

If you go by train, you should get off at Guangzhou East. For the remaining approximately 9 km, you can get a taxi or a metro.
How to get to the Canton Fai Complex by taxi
A taxi ride from the Guangzhou East Railway Station takes half an hour, and from the airport – 45 minutes. It takes approximately 40 minutes to reach the trade fair venue from Guangzhou Railway Station or Guangzhou South Railway Station.
A taxi ride will cost around RMB 10 for the first 2.5 km; then, it is RMB 2.6 per kilometer. We suggest you take a yellow taxi.
How to get to the Canton Fai Complex by bus
You can get to the venue by taking bus line no. 229, 239, 262, 304, 582, 763, 988, University Town Special Line 3, Tourism Line 1, Tourist Bus Line 3, B7 Express, etc. For instance, a journey by bus line No. 262: Zhujiangdijing Court → Canton Tower → Chigang → Modiesha → Horticultural → The Canton Fair Exhibition Hall. There are also special lines available during the Canton Fair.
How to get to the Canton Fai Complex by shuttle bus
Canton Fair organizes free shuttle bus services from the venue to the downtown. Free Wi-Fi is available onboard. Destinations of the bus lines: Huanshizhong Road – No. 1, Liuhua Road – No. 2, Haizhu Plaza – No. 3, and Tianhe Terminal (CITIC Plaza) – No. 4. The service is available from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on days the fair takes place.

How to get to the Canton Fair – getting around the complex
Shuttle buses are available in the venue in Areas A and B. In addition, electric power carts are available from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
